Dusting valve, pneumatic pulse valve or dust shaking pulse valve is the name used for the main equipment to clean the dust filter bag during the operation of the dust filter system.
The dust shedding valve is installed to connect the air storage tank and the air blowing pipe in the dust filter system, under the control of the pneumatic pulse signal, causing the valve membrane to open and close the pulse valve, a amount of compressed air will be shot into the inside of the dust filter bag, creating back pressure so that dust particles sticking outside the surface of the filter bag fall on the hopper and are brought out of the system, partially restoring the surface of the filter material, increasing the efficiency of dust filter as well as the life of the dust filter bag.
The dust shaking valve is determined by the main factors:
- Type of pulse valve: Determined by the connection method holding the air tank and air divider. Dust relief valve type: Threaded, Dresser Nut (coupling), Tank mounted (mounted directly on the air accumulator), Straight, Flanged.
- Pneumatic pulse valve size: Determined by the diameter directly connected to the air divider such as: 3/4 inch (Ø 27 mm); 1 inch (Ø 34 mm); 11/2 inch (Ø 49 mm); 2 inch (Ø 56 mm); 2 1/2 inch (Ø 72 mm); 3 inch (Ø 89 mm). The dust shedding valve has a valve diaphragm diameter that determines the stroke size and opening and closing speed. The larger the diameter, the larger the stroke and the better the blowing efficiency. Therefore, when designing a dust filter system, depending on the size of the dust filter bag and the number of bags in a row, the appropriate type of valve will be selected.
